Bank Holiday Dates and Opening Hours
SpeedLink operates 24 hour a day, 7 day a week, 365 day a year but has unique bank holiday dates and opening hours for our customer service contact centre.
All shipments carried on any bank holiday day including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or Mondays will need to be pre-booked before close of business the day prior to the Bank Holiday.
Our UK & European contact centre will be closed for bank holiday weekends and will re-open at 08:30 AM on day following the bank holiday. But don't worry! We still have our finger on the pulse of our operation around the clock. Our out of hours teams ensure smooth, un-interrupted service every single day of the year.
Typically, for the month of August, our contact centre hours change slightly. For 2024, our hours will be 09:00 - 17:00 Monday through Friday between Monday July 29 and Monday September 2nd, where normal hours resume at 08:30.

Christmas 2024/25
SpeedLink will continue to offer a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week, 365 day a year service. However, all shipments carried between 1200 hrs Tuesday December 24 and 0830 hrs Thursday January 2nd 2025 will need to be pre-booked prior to 1200 hrs Tuesday December 24.
Our UK & European contact centre will be closed for the holiday season from 12:00 December 24 and will re-open at 08:30 January 2, 2025.
